Every year from 1900 to 2100 is laid out as twelve months, with today highlighted according to your own time zone. The line above the grid gives the number of days and says whether the year is a leap year. A year is a leap year when it can be divided by 4, except for century years, which must be divisible by 400. That is why 2000 had a 29 February, while 1900 and 2100, the first and last years of this calendar, do not. The century without a leap day explains where the rule comes from.
Why old calendars can be used again
A common year lasts 52 weeks and one day, so the next year starts one weekday later; after a leap year it starts two weekdays later. Only 14 different calendars exist: seven possible starting weekdays, each with or without a leap day. Between 1901 and 2099 every calendar comes back after 28 years, and common years also repeat at gaps of 6 or 11 years. The calendar for 2026, a common year that starts on a Thursday, is identical to those of 2015 and 2037.
Monday first or Sunday first
ISO 8601 and most European countries start the week on Monday. The United States, Canada, Japan and many other countries print Sunday first. The “Week begins” setting changes only the layout of the grid, and your choice is remembered in this browser. It does not change ISO week numbers, which always run from Monday to Sunday; why January can be in week 53 shows how they are counted.

“Print calendar” opens your browser’s print dialog. The site menu, the controls and this text are left out, so only the heading and the twelve months reach the paper. Choose portrait or landscape in the dialog, or select “Save as PDF” as the destination to keep a file. Public holidays are not shown because they differ between countries and regions; mark your own once the page is printed.
